Best line that anyone could have given an Albert Einstein to say “I’m steering za boat!”

Tammy I’m updating this because I really enjoyed your tumblr. I talk to people all day every day at work so it’s hard to share with people I actually know, it’s even hard to just go to the bar and hang out because interactions exhaust me now. Chapin and I miss you and Patrick a lot and if no one else reads this, you will and that’ll make me feel just fine.

Too much?
Since the internet, are we too worldly? Do we even know/care what is going on in our immediate neighborhood? Do you even know your neighbor’s name? Watch your crazy local news chanel if anything for the knowledge of what is happening.

$$ Thinking Green $$ →
Financial situations have ruined the color green for me. The beloved color is now stamped into my brain as a movement, not a lovely blend of cerulean and merrigold. Marketing has taken photosynthesis…

Goals
Future and immediate goals:
Immediate:
Prepare lunch for work tomorrow, tonight
Clean up room! Hang up ALL clothes and unpack all remaining boxes.
Organize desk area
Have tube project (pictures following) done by the end of the week
Future:
Learn and become affluent in CSS (I know, I have a BFA in Graphic Design and I don’t know CSS…a shame!) by the end of the Summer
Pick one...
Test rat
I signed myself up for a video game study. I’m pretty sure I’m going to play with a Wii for 4 hours as they monitor my heart and sweat and whatnot and then get juice and snacks and $50 at the end of it. I always enjoy participating in research studies, especially when they pay me. This is the first with money so far.
I work at a photography gallery with very large windows in the front that face the street. On such a beautiful day like this after all the rain we’ve had it’s torture watching people enjoy their Saturday, knowing that I haven’t had a regular weekend in 3 months. My weekend is Wednesday. I miss Saturday and Sunday.
I want a giant bag of pistachios. I know there’s the salmonela poisoning scare (but really isn’t it something different every week? And don’t they over-react each time?) but I want them!
Also, this is one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had outside of Espresso News. I’m sold.
Another sidenote: I love living in Chapel Hill. I love my new house and my new...
Super Robot Coffee Maker →
My work just recently acquired this coffee maker because I (clutz that I am) bumped the last one’s carafe and it broke. I was super amazed by this machine because it’s fancier than my car and has so many automatic customized settings that it’s probably better at making coffee than I am. I press some buttons, push a lever, act like a monkey while it automatically grinds the right...

Is it just me?
joshcole:
Or does anybody else want to watch the trailer for “Where the Wild Things Are” over and over and over again?
Yes yes yes, I do. And I have. And I will some more. It’s just…gah I can’t even think of how amazing this movie is…
salad bliss
I love it when I pack a salad for lunch and I add so many veggies that I run out of lettuce before vegetables (I construct bites to have a little of everything each time) so I end up with yummy lettuce-free salad perfectly covered in dressing.
E-Pack Rat
I am the worst kind of pack rat. I am an E-Pack Rat. It’s the kind of thing where you have junk collecting on your kitchen table that you know you need to go through because half of it will get tossed, but you just don’t wanna do it.
Yeah, I’m like that but the internet is my kitchen table. I have so many various sites that I’m connected to, have logins for, email...
